Intellectual Property

- Unless otherwise stated, the photographs of the artworks are protected works in which GMG holds the economic and/or exploitation rights, or for which authorisation has been obtained from the rights holders. CPI, art. L122-1 et seq. (economic rights), L121-1 et seq. (moral rights)
- Any reproduction, performance, adaptation, translation, extraction, re-use, distribution or communication to the public, in whole or in part, by any means whatsoever, without the prior written authorisation of GMG, is prohibited. CPI, art. L122-4; offences and penalties: CPI, art. L335-2 et seq.
- The databases are protected by the database producer’s sui generis right. CPI, art. L341-1 et seq.
- The trade marks and logos cited are the property of their respective owners. CPI, art. L713-2 et seq.
Artworks and Artists’ Rights
- The artworks presented may be protected under the CPI. Any request to use them (reproduction, screening, publication) requires the prior authorisation of GMG and, where applicable, of the rights holders (artists, their successors in title, collective management organisations). Personal Data (GDPR)

- French law applies. Territorial jurisdiction lies with the courts of the place where GMG has its registered office, subject to mandatory provisions (consumer law, etc.). Brussels I bis Regulation (EU No 1215/2012) where applicable; Code de la consommation (French Consumer Code) for disputes with consumers.
